Dr. Roderick VanSurksum is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with over 20 years of experience. Dr. VanSurksum graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1990 and attended a one-year hospital training residency at Ehrling Bergquist Strategic Hospital. After serving in the military and practicing dentistry abroad, Dr. VanSurksum returned to attend the oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Medical College of Wisconsin, graduating with distinction in 2000 and becoming board certified with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 2003. Dr. VanSurksum’s goal is to create a welcoming, patient-centered practice striving to provide the highest quality patient care.
